Absolutely! Our classes at Pak Oles Yoga Institute are designed for everyone, regardless of your current fitness level or flexibility. Yoga is a practice that benefits all bodies, helping you build physical confidence and overall well-being. If you feel you’re not flexible, yoga is an excellent way to improve that over time.

In Bali’s warm climate, most people wear shorts and t-shirts or other lightweight, breathable clothing. Our studio is lightly air-conditioned to maintain a comfortable environment. Since yoga practice can raise your body temperature during movement and cool it down during relaxation, dressing in layers—like a t-shirt with a light cover-up—is recommended.

Please bring your own yoga mat. If you forget, you can rent one in the studio. Many people also bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the session. Dressing in layers is helpful, even in Bali, as your body temperature may change during practice and relaxation.

Ideally, yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach. We recommend avoiding eating at least three hours before your class to ensure your body is free of food. However, if you’re hungry, listen to your body and eat something light and small to keep yourself nourished.

Yes, yoga is traditionally practiced barefoot. While you can keep your socks on during warm-ups and stretches, all postures should be practiced barefoot for safety and a deeper connection to the earth.
